DAY 1: MOSCOW

Arrival to Moscow in late afternoon, meeting with our local guide
Sightseeing tour: The Tverskaya (formerly Gorky Street), starts from the picturesque Byelorussia railway terminal built in traditional Russian style… the Lomonosov University wherefrom you can enjoy a splendid view of the whole of the city.

Continuation by the Kalinin Avenue, then a stop at the Novodevichy Nunnery: founded in the beginning of the 16th century. The Moskva River embankments and the splendid Cathedral of Our Savior.
Transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Dinner at leisure.

DAY 2: MOSCOW

09:00 Walking tour of the historical center: the Zaryadye district, the former district of nobility, with the Palace of the boyars Romanoff, St. Trinity church in Nikitniki regarded as one of the masterpieces of Moscow architecture of the 17th century, the Red Square with St. Basil’s Cathedral, the new Horse-riding Manege Square. Visit of the GUM.

10:30 Excursion to the Kremlin: It towers forty meters high on the left bank of the Moskva River; its red brick wall 2235 meters long is intercepted with 5 gates and marked with 19 towers, it covers the total surface of 28 hectares. The real historical cradle of the city, the Kremlin is a city within a city with its palaces, churches and administrative buildings. Its foundation dates back to the 12th century, but the triangular form we can see today was established in the 15th century.

DAY 3: MOSCOW

Excursion to the metro, an “underground palace” where all stations are spotlessly clean - some of them are just splendid. A walk in the Arbat district, the “Montmartre of Moscow” with its painters, portrait-makers and real artists. Return to hotel by metro.
